Relief!
And less than a week later we’re 99% done. There’s still some issues with the contact form that I’ve got my IT guy (my husband) figuring out but other than that- TA-DA!!
I’m really pleased with how everything turn out. There were a couple of design directions in the beginning that I’m very glad were left by the wayside (delicately frayed edges? Oy! Those did NOT fit with the clean rounded boxes) and I love my mid-century modern inspired bright cheery colors more than I even thought possible.
I try not to talk to myself as a client often because it invariably leads to someone walking in on me engaged in a lively discussion with myself but I do believe my designer side achieve all the client side goals:

To have a sense of quirkiness and a lot of information available without a lot of clicking like Squared Eye:

To keep in mind the good points brought up in Astheria’s post My Last Portfolio Sucks, Your Might Too: (check!)

And lastly, to add my own spin onto it all! (check!)
